Shakira praises UK PM Brown

International Latin pop superstar Shakira was all praises for British Prime Minister Gordon Brown during a telephone conference when he laid down his plans to improve education in developing countries.

She says, “I think Prime Minister Brown is a man with wonderful intentions and who is also very pro-active and who has been working very hard for this issue of education.”

The famous singer who is also a UNICEF goodwill ambassador also denied reports that she was being used by Brown to boost his popularity in all of England.

“Absolutely not.” Says Shakira, ”I think he is a man with wonderful intentions and who is also very pro-active and who has been working very hard for this issue of education.”
